Stargate
Physical Structure
At 86,000 square feet, Stargate
is one of the largest Tier III+ data centers
in the Midwest. It has specifically been built
to safeguard mission critical data and accommodate
your future growth and change.
When viewing the outside of
the building, you can see that Stargate maintains
a low profile. The exterior is completely anonymous,
while blending with the surrounding area.
Security and Surveillance
To protect your mission-critical
operations, Stargate maintains a tight and multi-layered
security system. Video surveillance and electronic
motion sensors provide continuous interior and
exterior observation and 30-day retained storage.
The building’s single entry point is outfitted
with sophisticated security sensors, vandal-resistant
and bullet-proof glass, full biometric hand
scanning and CircleLock mantraps. To complement
the data center’s physical security features,
an armed guard monitors the data center 24/7/365.
The outside of the building,
or building envelope, was designed and constructed
to withstand extreme temperatures, high winds,
floods, fire, impact, pollution and electro-magnetic
interference.

Colocation
Our Tier III+ 2N+1 status,
combined with our complete range of hosting,
collocation and managed-service solutions, makes
Stargate one of the most advanced facilities
in the country. You can be sure, our concurrently
maintainable data center has the ability to
accommodate any planned work activity, without
disruption to computer room processing.
The facility is engineered
with the highest level of redundant systems
to deliver a 99.999% uptime Service Level Agreement.
Global enterprises, content companies, systems
integrators and network service providers can
always manage and deploy their operations with
the expectation of exceptional performance,
reliability and scalability.
High-Density Blade Server Ready
Stargate fully integrates Network
Critical Physical Infrastructure components--power,
cooling, facilities and rack configurations--for
deployment of blade servers. And our environment
is ideal for high-density deployments.
Primary and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)
Of course, uninterrupted access
and premium bandwidth are critical to your colocation
needs. That’s why we offer carrier neutral options
and diverse network routes. Stargate also offers
multiple, diverse fiber routing to Tier 1 carriers.
Primary power is robust. We
can supply more watts per square foot than any
other data center in the Midwest and we have
the availability of 12.5 megawatts for power-hungry
applications. Our redundant Uninterrupted Power
Supply prevents power spikes, surges and brownouts.
And because we’re equipped with N + 1 diesel
generators, each with a 2,000-gallon belly tank,
we have enough stand-by power to stay up and
running in the event of a commercial power failure.
